Description

The SEAL-TITE™ STP Series Dock Seal is designed to form a tight seal around the trailer with less pressure on building walls resulting in reduced wear and tear on the impact area.
The unique design closes the air gap created from swing out trailer doors while allowing clear access into the trailer.

The seal includes high-tear abrasion resistant fabrics with double lock-stitched seams, kiln dried pressure treated superior grade backing & head frame lumber and constructed with 99% memory foam core side frame with condensation drainage system.

Description

The WEARTOUGH® Series STP dock seal is designed to form a tight seal against the trailer doors to provide effective protection for personnel and cargo while loading and off-loading trailers.
The truck backs into the side pads and head pad to keep out inclement weather, dust and insects creating a more productive and safer environment while saving energy costs and increasing security.
The unique design closes the gap created from swing out trailer doors, lessens the pressure on building walls and allows a clearer access into the trailer.

Specification

Dock seal(s) to be Model STP as manufactured by NORDOCK® to suit door size of ________ wide x ________ high and dock height of ________ with a projection of ________ to suit _________ of dock bumper projection. Each unit shall consist of two fabric covered foam side pads and one head pad. Side pads to be constructed with 99% compression recovery polyurethane foam core continuously bonded to pressure treated superior backing lumber and fully wrapped with the base fabric. The base fabric shall be _______________. The side vertical side pads to be shaped to accommodate trailer widths of 8 feet to 8’ 6” in width with a second layer of high-visibility orange on outside face and a full height yellow guide stripe on inside to aid in driver positioning. Taper side pads if needed to suit an approach grade percentage of _______________. Head pad height shall be __________ to provide a minimum 6” overlap with the lowest trailer/truck to be serviced. The head pad shall be equal to the overall unit width.
