NORDOCK® WEARTOUGH® MULTI-SEAL™ MODEL MS

Description

The patented MULTI-SEAL™ environmental dock control system is designed to provide a tight dual action seal against both the rear and sides of a truck or trailer.
The compression style inner vertical pads deliver the desirable tight seal for standard trailers while the outer curtains provide a secondary wiper seal for standard trailers or trucks offset from the building wall due to rear tail gates or steps being present.
The unique dual sealing function provides the most effective and versatile protection for personnel and cargo while loading and off-loading trailers.
The truck backs into the dock bumpers compressing the inner side pads and top curtain while wiping the outer sides of the truck or trailer to effectively keep out inclement weather, dust and insects creating a more productive and safer environment.
Available for door openings up to 9’ wide x 10’ high.

Specification

Dock seal to be Model MS as manufactured by NORDOCK® to suit door size of ________” wide x ________” high and a dock height of ________”, bumper projection from wall of _______”, and an incline _____ or decline _____ approach grade of ______ %. Dock seal shall consist of two fabric covered foam side pads and one head curtain. Side pads to be constructed with 99% compression recovery polyurethane foam core continuously bonded to pressure treated superior backing lumber and fully wrapped with 40 oz. vinyl base fabric. The inner compression pads to have standard 40 oz. vinyl 8” exposure wear pleats and the outer wiper curtain to be velcro attached 40 oz. vinyl with compression stays and 24” yellow guide stripes to aid in driver positioning. Head curtain drop shall be 30” long or ________ to provide a minimum 6” overlap with the lowest trailer/truck to be serviced. The head curtain shall be equal to the overall unit width and have corner wear pleats and wind retention cords and with optional Tough-Split gussets to provide relief from tearing by corner of trailers. Configure dock seal if needed to suit a decline or incline approach grade, building wall setback and/or grade wall extension.
